Description

This is a basic low cost fill system for small hybrid motors.  It uses the 2mm orifice solenoid valve for both filling and purge.  This valve is designed for continuous duty.

1/4 inch NPT 2mm orifice and a 20 watt continuous duty 12 volt coil and 1/4 inch NPT.

These valves are rated at 80 Bar or 1160 psi. We have been testing in field conditions with great success.  They are at a deep discounted price and are tested using 12 volts and Nitrous Oxide at flight pressure prior to shipment. These valves are sold as raw valves with a UL male plug installed.  These are high quality solenoid valves that do not have a warranty.  To add a warranty would increase the cost to the flyer.  We were considering raising the valve price to provide a warranty but thought it was more important to help your next hybrid project into the air.  Please note that this valve requires 8 bars of pressure to activate.  It is designed for Nitrous Oxide use and pressures.  This valve will not operate at lower pressures.

It has a connection for a 6AN Female swivel that attaches to a 6AN male x 660 CGA fitting off the Nitrous Oxide tank valve and a 1/4 PTC to connect your fill line.  The 1/4 inch nylon line is rated with a 1750 psi burst.  The solenoid valves have 120 volt plugs for easy connection to a UL rated cord from the valves to your GSE.  Also included are coupling adapters from the fill line to either a 1/8 or 3/16 inch motor fill line.  This is a great starter set for 38mm L1/2 motors.
