Description
This is an innovative approach to fill and purge your small hybrid motors. This system uses our purge valve for filling. This valve has a five minute duty cycle and is not designed for larger motors. The system has a tee with a 1/8 PTC and nylon line for the purge. The line fails when an e-match heats the line to failure. This system eliminate the need for a second solenoid valve for purging but meets the code for the ability to purge a motor before approaching. All that needs to be done is replace the short six inch 1/8 line to resume filling. If you save the 1/8 line from venting or filling and cut into 6 inch lengths that will provide you with spare purge lines. This economical way of purging causes a full dump of the NOS in your flight tank. If you have to purge to approach the rocket it makes no difference if it is a solenoid valve you open or burst 1/8 line segment that you then replace. The e-match is customer provided. A resistor igniter will not work in this process. The same e-match used for ejection charges taped to line is sufficient. If you have issues with your e-matches then tape two on the disposable line segment.
AGAIN THIS IS A SINGLE SOLENOID VALVE FOR FILLING. PURGE IS DONE BY HEATING LINE TO FAILURE.
